This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
hey, basically, I just arranged the type in inDesign, then printed it to a good size to fit a pumpkin (may have to print a couple to get one that fits just right!) Second, tape it down! You may need to put tape on the back of the letters as well as the sides to get it to stick right. Third, get out a pointy object, but something thicker than a needle. The idea is to poke around the outlines of the type (or design...this is where tape on the back of the type/design comes in handy, as the paper gets soggy and the closer together the holes are, the more likely you are to rip the paper up and have pieces fall out) so that when you remove the paper, you're left with tracing lines, which you can then trace using a sharp knife. Once you're done that, chip away the pieces of type! I just carved it in about a quarter inch, so that it lit up, but wasn't cut all the way through. Remember not to cut too deep! Good luck! I'd love to see the final result. And thanks!
